We have a planned litter expected in September 2026. Our puppies are bred from carefully health-tested parents with exceptional breed type, temperament, and show ring pedigree.
Every Braecrest puppy is raised in a country home environment with plenty of early socialisation — meeting people, children, sounds and experiences to set them up for life as confident, adaptable companions.
Enquiries are welcome for both family companions and show/performance prospects. Pam is always happy to discuss the breed, the litter, and what suits your family best.
Puppies can be transported Australia-wide via pet-safe air or ground transport, or collected in person at Wirrimah.
DNA Health Status
All Braecrest Irish Terriers are DNA tested and cleared for Hereditary Footpad Hyperkeratosis and NCL8.

Is an Irish Terrier Right for You?
Temperament
Bold, spirited, loyal and fearless — Irish Terriers are full of personality. They are devoted to their families and gentle with children, while remaining alert and confident.
Trainability
Highly trainable when handled with consistency and positive reinforcement. Tawnyoak/Braecrest dogs have excelled in obedience, trick dog, dancing with dogs, and lure coursing.
Family Life
Our dogs are family companions first. They live well with children and adapt to both country and suburban life with sufficient exercise and mental stimulation.
Grooming
Irish Terriers have a dense, wiry coat that requires hand stripping for show dogs or regular brushing for pets. Pam provides a grooming kit and guidance with every puppy.
