Showing Irish Terriers is a community effort. Braecrest is a proud financial member of the clubs below, and we encourage new owners and exhibitors to connect with their local terrier club. These clubs run the championship shows, pointscores and breed specialty events that keep the Irish Terrier visible in the ring, and they are all affiliated with Dogs Australia (Australia) or Dogs NZ (New Zealand).

British Terrier Club of NSW Inc
Sydney, New South Wales
Founded in February 1907, the British Terrier Club of NSW is one of Australia's oldest dog clubs, affiliated with Dogs NSW. It caters for all terrier breeds, including the Irish Terrier, and holds two championship shows in Sydney each year (July and October) as well as the prestigious Terrier of the Year (TOTY) night for the club's annual pointscore winners.
Sporting Terrier Club of Queensland
Queensland
The Sporting Terrier Club of Queensland promotes all terrier breeds across the state through conformation championship and open shows, plus a range of activities for exhibitors. Irish Terriers are a regular feature in the club's terrier group line-ups.
Irish Breeds Club Australia Inc
Australia (National)
A national club dedicated to the Irish breeds of dog recognised in Australia, including the Irish Terrier, Kerry Blue Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Glen of Imaal Terrier, Irish Red & White Setter, Irish Setter and Irish Wolfhound. The club celebrates and promotes Irish breeds through specialty events and breed education across the country.

Sporting Terrier Club of Victoria Inc
Victoria
Affiliated with Dogs Victoria, the Sporting Terrier Club of Victoria holds championship and open terrier shows at KCC Park, Melbourne, catering for all ANKC-recognised terrier breeds, including the Irish Terrier.
Sporting Terrier Club of Tasmania
Tasmania
Promotes terrier breeds across Tasmania through championship shows and events, with Irish Terriers regularly exhibited in the terrier group line-ups.
The Terrier Club NZ
North Island, New Zealand
Situated in the North Island of New Zealand, the Terrier Club NZ caters for all breeds of terriers recognised by Dogs NZ, including the Irish Terrier, through shows and club events.
Canterbury Combined Terrier Club
South Island, New Zealand
A South Island-based New Zealand terrier club running championship and open shows throughout the year, welcoming all Dogs NZ-recognised terrier breeds, including the Irish Terrier. Members receive the club magazine, the Terrier Times, four times a year.
